Tricon Residential Inc. has announced the final approval under the Investment Canada Act for its acquisition by Blackstone Real Estate, with the transaction set to close around May 1, 2024. At a purchase price of US$11.25 per common share, the deal has already cleared regulatory hurdles and received shareholder nod, paving the way for the company’s shares to be delisted from the NYSE and TSX. Shareholders are guided to contact the company’s transfer agent for instructions on submitting their shares to receive the transaction consideration.
