Tricon Residential Inc. has received endorsements from proxy advisory firms ISS and Glass Lewis for shareholders to approve a buyout arrangement with Blackstone Real Estate, valued at US$11.25 per common share. Shareholders are urged to cast their votes ahead of the impending March 26 deadline, with a special meeting scheduled for March 28, 2024. The transaction aims to transfer all outstanding Tricon common shares to Blackstone, enhancing the company’s single-family rental and multi-family apartment portfolio.
