Transatlantic Mining ( (TSE:TCO) ) just unveiled an update.
Transatlantic Mining has secured an extension of its exploration permit for the Golden Jubilee gold project in Granite County, Montana, with U.S. authorities approving the plan of operations through Dec. 31, 2026. The extended permit allows the company to restart drilling and dewatering work that was delayed in late 2025 due to winter conditions, enabling up to 1,000 metres of drilling in two to four holes to test down-dip extensions and new geophysical targets.
The 2026 program is designed to follow up on high-grade gold intercepts reported from the 2023 campaign, which included multiple multi-gram-per-tonne intervals over several metres. By testing potential extensions and offsets that could more than double the known strike length and by gaining access underground via dewatering, Transatlantic aims to better define the scale of mineralization at Golden Jubilee and potentially enhance the project’s overall gold-bearing potential for future development.
