Transatlantic Mining Extends High-Grade Contact Zone at Montana’s Historic Miller Gold Mine

Story Highlights
  • Transatlantic’s Phase 1 drilling at Montana’s Miller Mine confirmed and extended gold-silver mineralisation along a 500-metre granodiorite–metasediment contact.
  • High-grade intercepts, including 6 g/t gold over 1.5 metres and significant dump material, outline strong exploration upside but 2026 drilling hinges on new permits and weather.

Transatlantic Mining ( (TSE:TCO) ) has provided an update.

Transatlantic Mining has reported assay results from its 25‑hole, 2,070‑metre Phase 1 reverse circulation drill program at the historic Miller Gold Mine in Montana, confirming gold and silver mineralisation along the granodiorite–metasediment contact and extending this key structure to a 500‑metre strike length. Highlight intercepts include up to 1.5 metres grading 6.0 g/t gold and 13.71 g/t silver in hole MMRC2514, 1.5 metres at 5.76 g/t gold and 21.94 g/t silver in MMRC2504, and a high‑grade 0.5‑metre surface sample from a drill sump returning 370 g/t gold and 270 g/t silver, suggesting a strong nugget effect near rock contacts and within veining. The program also returned a notable intercept of 1.5 metres at 5.49 g/t gold in material drilled in a waste dump, which will be further reviewed in 2026, while several holes yielded no significant mineralisation. With underground “lower target” drilling at Miller and postponed drilling at the Golden Jubilee project now pushed into 2026 due to permit expiries and winter conditions, the results position Transatlantic to refine future drill targets along strike and at depth, but also underline that near‑term expansion drilling depends on securing permit extensions and overcoming seasonal access constraints.
