Tower ( (TSEM) ) has issued an announcement.

On March 16, 2026, Tower Semiconductor announced a collaboration with Oriole Networks to advance AI infrastructure and data‑center networking using nanosecond optical circuit switching built on Tower’s mature silicon photonics platform. The partnership targets ultra‑low, deterministic‑latency networking for large‑scale AI clusters, as the AI networking market is projected to exceed $80 billion by 2030.

By integrating lasers, amplification, switching, high‑speed modulation and detection on a single silicon photonics platform, Tower will support Oriole’s PRISM and PRISM Ultra architectures aimed at overcoming latency limits of traditional electrical, packet‑switched networks. The move extends Tower’s silicon photonics beyond data‑center transceivers into the network fabric itself, reinforcing its positioning as a foundry partner for next‑generation AI infrastructure and potentially deepening its role in high‑growth AI and data‑center markets.

The most recent analyst rating on (TSEM) stock is a Buy with a $124.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Tower stock, see the TSEM Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on TSEM Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TSEM is a Outperform.

The score is driven mainly by solid financial strength (notably the strong balance sheet) and supportive technical trend, reinforced by an upbeat earnings call focused on a funded, customer-supported SiPho/SiGe capacity ramp. These positives are tempered by premium valuation (high P/E) and the recent dip into negative free cash flow, plus execution/contract risks highlighted on the call.
