The latest update is out from Tower ( (TSEM) ).
Tower Semiconductor, a major analog-focused foundry with a strong presence in aerospace and defense, and Axiro Semiconductor, a U.S.-based RF and radar IC specialist, have collaborated to deliver high-performance radar beamforming integrated circuits based on Tower’s Silicon Germanium technology. The chips, fabricated in Tower’s U.S. facilities and designed and marketed by Axiro, are aimed at advanced radar and satellite communications systems for U.S. defense customers.
Announced on April 27, 2026, the new Ku- and X-band beamforming ICs are ramping to volume production and are positioned to set a higher performance benchmark in gain, linearity, output power, efficiency and switching speed versus current market offerings. By being manufactured domestically and tailored to the needs of U.S. defense primes and radar manufacturers, the products are expected to reinforce secure U.S. defense supply chains and strengthen both companies’ roles as key providers of secure foundry services for next-generation defense and satcom applications.
Tower executives highlighted the company’s established aerospace and defense track record and scalable SiGe platform as enablers for modern defense systems, while Axiro’s leadership underscored the strategic importance of using Tower’s U.S. facilities to support mission-critical, domestically sourced technology. Tower also noted its participation at SPIE Defense and Security 2026 in National Harbor, MD, where it will showcase its aerospace and defense-focused technology portfolio to industry stakeholders.

Spark’s Take on TSEM Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TSEM is a Outperform.
The score is driven by a strong financial foundation and upbeat earnings-call outlook (funded SiPho/SiGe expansion with substantial capacity reservations), reinforced by strong technical uptrend signals. These positives are tempered by expensive valuation (high P/E), overbought technical readings, and the near-term concern of negative 2025 free cash flow alongside execution and contract-related risks.
