Towa Bank, Ltd. reports a decrease in ordinary income by 3.8% but an increase in ordinary profit and profit attributable to owners of 5.4% and 59.6% respectively for the quarter ending June 30, 2024. The bank’s equity ratio slightly decreased from 4.8% to 3.9%, while the consolidated capital adequacy ratio also saw a reduction. Despite a challenging quarter, Towa Bank forecasts a year-on-year decrease in profit for the half-year and full-year ending March 31, 2025.
