TotalEnergies Expands Solar Energy in India with AGEL

TotalEnergies SE (FR:TTE) has released an update.

TotalEnergies SE is expanding its renewable energy footprint by forming a 50-50 joint venture with Adani Green Energy Limited to develop a 1,150 MWac solar portfolio in Gujarat, India. The venture aligns with TotalEnergies’ goal to support AGEL in reaching 50 GW of renewable capacity by 2030 and contributes to the liberalization of India’s electricity market. AGEL, part of the venture and India’s largest renewable energy company, is also developing the world’s largest renewable energy site in Khavda, which will have a massive 30 GW capacity upon completion.
