TotalEnergies SE ( (FR:TTE) ) has provided an announcement.

TotalEnergies, in partnership with TES, Osaka Gas, Toho Gas, and ITOCHU, has signed an agreement to develop the Live Oak project in Nebraska, aimed at producing electric natural gas (e-NG). This project, leveraging Nebraska’s biogenic CO₂ resources and renewable power, is expected to begin operations by 2030, with plans to export e-NG to Japan, supporting Japan’s decarbonization goals and positioning Live Oak as a leading carbon-neutral gas production initiative.
