Tirupati Graphite Plc ( (GB:TGR) ) has shared an announcement.
Total Graphite has resumed operations at its Vatomina flake graphite project in Madagascar following a recent fundraising, completing maintenance, restarting mining and processing, and resuming shipments to international customers. Management has strengthened operational resilience with additional drying capacity, expanded spare parts inventory, and a planned full-year mine plan and 12‑month drilling program, while reviewing solar power to offset higher fuel costs.
Production ramp-up is set to continue with the relocation and restart of additional pre-concentrate units by June, supported by stockpiled ore to mitigate weather-related disruptions. The company has also initiated re-development planning at its nearby Sahamamy project, including a significant hydropower capacity increase, positioning it as a potential 18,000 tpa growth asset and reinforcing Total Graphite’s strategy to expand its Madagascar footprint amid robust demand for flake graphite.
