On July 15, 2025, Tortoise Energy Infrastructure Corporation and Tortoise Sustainable and Social Impact Term Fund announced the resignation of Rand C. Berney as a director of both companies. Carrie R. Schoffman has been appointed to succeed him and will serve as a director and Chair of the Audit and Valuation Committee. Ms. Schoffman brings extensive experience in tax and accounting, having operated her own firm and held significant roles at various financial institutions. Her appointment is expected to influence the governance of the funds, particularly as she will serve for the remainder of the term for Class II directors, which extends until the 2027 annual shareholder meeting.
