Toro Corp. ( (TORO) ) has issued an update.

Toro Corp. reported that for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2025, vessel revenues from continuing operations rose 17.3% year-on-year to $6.1 million, with net income climbing to $1.6 million and EBITDA from continuing operations reaching $2.2 million. The stronger quarter was driven by higher charter rates and a shift in fleet mix, despite fewer available and ownership days for its vessels.

For full-year 2025, Toro posted net income of $5.9 million, sharply down from $25.2 million in 2024, while net income from continuing operations edged up to $5.6 million and EBITDA from continuing operations more than tripled to $6.0 million. Results reflected lower total vessel revenues, the completed spin-off of its Handysize tanker segment to Robin Energy Ltd. in April 2025, repayment of a $100 million term loan from Castor Maritime in May 2025, and two vessel acquisitions and disposals.

The company ended 2025 with cash of $87.4 million, more than double the prior-year level, supported in part by the October 2025 redemption of $60 million of Castor’s preferred shares. In December 2025 it declared a one-time special dividend of $1.75 per share, paid on January 16, 2026 in a mix of cash and stock, underscoring management’s confidence in Toro’s balance sheet and long-term financial discipline.

Spark’s Take on TORO Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TORO is a Neutral.

The score is held back primarily by weak and erratic cash generation and uneven core profitability despite a strong, low-leverage balance sheet. Technicals are supportive with a clear uptrend and positive momentum, but valuation is a major headwind due to the extremely high P/E.
