Top Glove Bhd ( (TPGVF) ) has issued an update.

Top Glove’s executive chairman Tan Sri Dr Lim Wee Chai has increased his direct stake in the company by acquiring 2 million ordinary shares at RM0.595 per share on 20 February 2026. Following the purchase, he directly holds about 2.31 billion shares, representing 28.79% of the company.

Including indirect and deemed interests through family members, related entities and foundations, Lim’s total influence now extends over more than 3 billion shares and a substantial pool of unexercised ESOS options and warrants. The move underscores continued founder confidence and reinforces concentrated ownership, a key factor for governance and long‑term strategic direction closely watched by investors.
