TOMRA to Power Tasmania’s Recycling Revolution

Tomra Systems ASA (GB:0KV7) has released an update.

TOMRA Systems ASA has been selected as the exclusive supplier of reverse vending machine solutions for Tasmania’s upcoming deposit return system, making Australia the first continent fully equipped with such recycling programs. TOMRA’s partnership with Cleanaway will see the launch of over 100 reverse vending machines across 49 locations in Tasmania by mid-2025, aiming to enhance recycling rates and reduce plastic pollution. The company, a leader in resource recovery, reported EUR 1,290 million in revenue for 2023 and operates over 110,000 installations worldwide.
