TomCo Energy ( (GB:TOM) ) has provided an update.

TomCo Energy has reported its final results for the year to 30 September 2025, highlighting operational progress enabled by $1.575 million received in 2024 from redeeming its 10% stake in Tar Sands Holdings II, which allowed it to clear trade creditors and reduce debts without raising capital during the year. The group has restructured its relationship with Valkor, reinstating Valkor as 50% owner of Greenfield and adding Valkor’s CEO to the board, positioning TomCo to co-fund and participate in drilling on AC Oil’s acreage and potentially develop an oil sands separation plant, though these plans remain contingent on Valkor perfecting drilling methods and TomCo securing further financing.

A £550,000 fundraise completed in February 2026 has strengthened working capital, while an amended loan facility with Valkor saw part of the debt settled in equity at a premium, signalling strategic alignment between the partners. Management stresses that material operational and funding risks persist, including uncertainty over the commercial viability and timing of drilling and plant construction, but argues that the closer Valkor partnership and Valkor’s fully funded neighbouring Asphalt Ridge project materially de-risk TomCo’s path toward commercial production for shareholders.
