TNR Gold Corp. has reported a positive development in the Los Azules copper, gold, and silver project, with McEwen Copper Inc. achieving a 3.2% increase in copper recovery rates from bio-heap leaching tests. The improved recovery rate, now averaging 76.0%, and an 8.3% reduction in net acid consumption could significantly enhance the project’s economic outlook over its 27-year life span.
