Thor Explorations Posts Strong Q1 Results, Expands Drilling

Thor Explorations (TSE:THX) has released an update.

Thor Explorations Ltd. reported a profitable first quarter in 2024, with 19,589 ounces of gold produced at the Segilola mine in Nigeria and an average gold sale price of $2,033 per ounce, leading to a net profit of $12.4 million. The company also completed the acquisition of the Douta-West Licence, aiming to expand the Douta Project’s resources and commenced a 15,000-metre drilling program post-period. With a strong operational performance, Thor maintains its production guidance of 95,000 to 100,000 ounces for the year while advancing exploration programs across its portfolio.
