On September 19, 2025, The9 Limited announced a joint venture acquisition to operate two proprietary mobile games, ‘Ultraman: Hero Beyond Time’ and ‘Glory All Stars.’ The9’s subsidiary, Shanghai The9 Information Technology Co., Ltd., acquired a 51% equity stake in Shanghai ZhongXinShun Network Technology Co., Ltd. The acquisition aims to leverage the success of ‘Glory All Stars,’ which has generated over RMB2 billion in revenue, and capitalize on the global appeal of the Ultraman franchise. The joint venture plans to distribute profits quarterly and develop additional games to create a long-term franchise ecosystem, enhancing The9’s industry positioning and shareholder value.
