The Star Entertainment Group has welcomed the Queensland Attorney-General’s decision affirming the suitability of Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited (CTFE), which holds a 25% stake in the joint venture operating The Star Brisbane casino. The review, following the Casino Control Act 1982 criteria, found no evidence to deem CTFE or its associates unsuitable. This announcement solidifies the standing of The Star Brisbane’s casino license, which was initially granted in October 2016.
