Terramin Australia Limited has started early construction activities at the Tala Hamza Zinc Project in Algeria, marking a major milestone for one of the world’s largest undeveloped zinc and lead deposits. The project has secured land acquisition and signed an EPC contract with Sinosteel, paving the way for a 2.0 million tonnes per annum process plant. This development is expected to significantly boost Algeria’s position in the global zinc and lead markets while bringing economic benefits through job creation and export revenue.
