The latest update is out from Terrain Minerals Ltd ( (AU:TMX) ).
Terrain Minerals has started a diamond drilling campaign at its 100%-owned Lightning prospect within the Smokebush Gold & Silver Project in Western Australia, a key step toward delivering a maiden JORC-compliant Mineral Resource targeted for mid-2026. The program comprises four diamond holes, using RC pre-collars, to obtain density and detailed geological data essential for resource estimation, while an RC drilling campaign of 21 holes at Lightning is nearing completion and will be followed by 13 RC holes at the nearby Wildflower targets, which show strong geological and geophysical similarities to Lightning and are being tested for new gold and silver mineralisation. The recently granted Mining Lease over the Lightning tenement strengthens tenure security as Terrain intensifies drilling to both define the resource at Lightning and assess additional discovery potential at Wildflower, underlining continued project de-risking and growth efforts for stakeholders.
