An announcement from Tennant Minerals ( (AU:TMS) ) is now available.
Tennant Minerals has reported an exceptional diamond drilling intersection at its Bluebird discovery, with 18 metres grading 10.1 grams per tonne gold equivalent, including a 4.55-metre interval at 34.5 grams per tonne gold equivalent containing very high gold, copper and bismuth grades. The hit extends the high-grade zone down-plunge of the recently declared open-pit mineral resource and confirms that mineralisation remains open to the west.
The new zone is interpreted to continue towards a large gravity high, suggesting ironstone-hosted mineralisation could extend more than 400 metres beyond the currently drilled area and potentially more than double Bluebird’s footprint. Management highlighted that soaring bismuth prices, alongside strong gold and copper, enhance the economic significance of the intersection, while new core will support metallurgical test work aimed at optimising recoveries and underpinning future resource growth and development studies.
