Tennant Minerals ( (AU:TMS) ) has provided an announcement.
Tennant Minerals has intersected 19.7 metres of intense iron-oxide copper-gold-bismuth mineralisation, including visible gold and native copper, in a new diamond drill hole at its Bluebird discovery within the Barkly Project. The intersection, located west and down-plunge of the current open-pit Mineral Resource, suggests potential to extend the high-grade gold-copper zone and expand the Bluebird footprint more than 400 metres to the west.
The company said the new core will also supply material for metallurgical test-work aimed at optimising gold and bismuth recovery, which could enhance project economics amid rising prices for both metals. Management views the latest results as reinforcing confidence in growing copper-gold-bismuth resources at Barkly and advancing Bluebird’s development within the Tennant Creek Mineral Field.
