Temple & Webster has announced a leadership reshuffle, with co-founder and current CEO Mark Coulter moving to the role of Executive Chair and former executive Susie Sugden returning as CEO, effective 1 July 2026. Coulter will oversee strategy, corporate development and capital allocation, chair the board and mentor Sugden, as he shifts focus toward longer-term growth and scaling the business.
Sugden, who previously drove Temple & Webster’s growth as Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, brings CEO experience from global consumer and e-commerce businesses, including Love To Dream and roles in private equity and Southeast Asian e-commerce. The board highlighted that her familiarity with the business and track record in scaling brands position her to lead the next growth phase, while governance is reinforced by Stephen Heath becoming Lead Independent Director and co-founder Conrad Yiu chairing a new technology committee focused on the company’s technology and AI roadmap.
