TELA Bio, Inc. has expanded its Board of Directors with the appointment of Jeffrey Blizard as a Class III director, whose term will run until the 2025 Annual Meeting. Recognized as an independent director according to Nasdaq rules, Blizard will also participate on the company’s Nominating Committee. As part of his compensation, he received an equity award and will earn an annual retainer for his service. Additionally, the company’s recent Annual Meeting saw the election of two Class II directors and the ratification of KPMG LLP as their independent auditor for the year.
