Taung Gold International Limited reported a significant financial downturn in the year ended March 31, 2023, with a loss of HK$52,804,000 compared to a profit of HK$67,181,000 in the previous year. The loss includes a substantial other comprehensive expense, primarily due to exchange differences, resulting in a total comprehensive loss of HK$616,825,000. The company’s earnings per share also shifted from a gain to a loss, now standing at a basic and diluted loss of HK$0.25 per share.
