TASK Group Holdings Limited has announced that its shareholders have overwhelmingly voted in favor of a scheme to be acquired by PAR Technology Corporation’s subsidiary, with 99.97% support. The acquisition is pending court approval and other conditions, with an expected effective date of 10 July 2024, leading to TASK shares being suspended from ASX trading. In a separate extraordinary general meeting, TASK shareholders also approved the issuance of restricted share units to key executives.
