Talisman Mining Limited ( (AU:TLM) ) just unveiled an update.
Talisman Mining has completed key drilling programs at the Sheepyard Prospect within the Walkers Hill Gold Project and at the Yarindury East target within the Yarindury Porphyry Copper-Gold Project in New South Wales, with assay results pending in early 2026. At Walkers Hill, a 2,229m aircore program at Sheepyard tested high-tenor gold-in-soil anomalies along a 4km gold trend where earlier RC drilling had already intersected broad zones of shallow, low-grade gold mineralisation with higher-grade intervals, while at Yarindury East two diamond holes totaling 933m were drilled into chargeability and magnetic anomalies interpreted as part of the same rock package hosting Alkane Resources’ Boda-Kaiser deposit. The company ended the quarter with $4.03 million in cash and received $1.37 million in royalty income from the Wonmunna Iron Ore Project, underscoring a solid funding base for ongoing exploration across its 100%-owned Lachlan Project, which targets large-scale porphyry copper-gold and VMS-style deposits in a belt that hosts several significant existing mines.
