The latest update is out from Humm Group Limited ( (AU:HUM) ).
Australia’s Takeovers Panel review body has overturned earlier orders relating to Humm Group Limited, replacing a requirement for The Abercrombie Group to sell shares with a restriction on voting rights over 15 million Humm shares for about six months, including at the upcoming extraordinary general meeting. The Panel has also ordered enhanced disclosure by Humm’s independent board committee on the likelihood of the Credit Corp proposal progressing, required TAG to retain and, under certain conditions, tender at least 15 million shares into any successful Credit Corp bid, restricted TAG’s use of the creep exception, and directed Humm to further adjourn the EGM so shareholders can properly assess the new information.
These measures aim to restore an efficient, competitive and informed market after TAG’s December 2025 share acquisitions were found to have undermined market integrity, while giving Humm shareholders more time and information to evaluate Credit Corp’s potential takeover bid. The outcome rebalances influence over Humm’s strategic direction, limits TAG’s immediate voting power without forcing divestment, and could materially affect the dynamics and perceived fairness of any forthcoming Credit Corp offer and related shareholder decision-making.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:HUM) stock is a Buy with a A$0.87 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Humm Group Limited stock, see the AU:HUM Stock Forecast page.
