Takara Standard Co., Ltd ( (JP:7981) ) has shared an announcement.

Takara Standard has announced a series of management changes approved at its February 26, 2026 board meeting, including adjustments to director roles effective April 1, 2026. Representative Director and Vice Chair Yoji Ito will retain his current executive responsibilities through March, while Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer Yoshimichi Shirasaka will be promoted to Director, Executive Vice President and Executive Officer in charge of the Administration Headquarters.

Ito is scheduled to retire as Representative Director, Vice Chair and Executive Officer in late June 2026, marking a significant transition in the company’s top management structure. According to the company, Umeda’s deep knowledge of internal operations and his track record in information disclosure are expected to enhance fair and objective audits that meet market expectations. These changes are intended to strengthen Takara Standard’s audit system and foster more constructive dialogue between management and oversight bodies, potentially improving transparency and confidence among investors and other stakeholders.
