GK Resources ( (TSE:ESAF) ) has shared an update.
Syntholene Energy Corp. has chosen Papadakis Engineering, the advanced fabrication and systems arm of Papadakis Racing, to design and integrate the geothermal heat exchanger system for its planned thermal-hybrid synthetic fuel demonstration facility. The U.S.-based firm brings motorsport-honed expertise in high-performance thermal systems, precision manufacturing, and complex system integration to the project.
Under a US$289,026 contract, Papadakis will engineer, fabricate, and containerize a geothermal heat exchanger skid that supplies low-grade process heat to Syntholene’s SOEC-based hydrogen production system, with delivery expected by June 1, 2026. The partnership marks a key milestone in executing Syntholene’s thermal-hybrid architecture, aimed at cutting net power demand and improving efficiency, and the resulting data from the demonstration facility is expected to de-risk future projects and support engagement with strategic partners, policymakers, and capital providers.
