An announcement from GK Resources ( (TSE:ESAF) ) is now available.
Syntholene Energy has chosen Danish solid-oxide electrolyzer specialist Dynelectro ApS as the electrolyzer technology vendor for its planned synthetic fuel demonstration facility in Iceland. Dynelectro’s high-efficiency, modular platform for hydrogen production is intended to align with Syntholene’s strategy of building capital-efficient, repeatable infrastructure for synthetic sustainable aviation fuel and other eFuels.
The vendor selection, following a two-year technical and commercial evaluation, marks a key milestone as Syntholene advances engineering and procurement for its first demonstration-scale plant. By pairing Dynelectro’s energy-efficient SOEC technology with Syntholene’s hybrid thermal system and secured 20 MW of dedicated energy, the company aims to validate low-cost hydrogen production and position itself for multi-megawatt commercial deployment in the emerging eSAF market.
