Synlait Milk Ltd. has announced a ‘Change of Control Event’ following Bright Dairy Holding Limited’s increase in shareholding to 65.25%, triggering an option for bondholders to redeem their subordinated bonds early. Bondholders have until October 15, 2024, to elect this option, with an early redemption date set for November 13, 2024. Trading of the bonds will be suspended during the election period, and the remaining bonds will mature on December 17, 2024.
