Swoop Holdings Limited has made a bid to acquire telecom company Vonex Limited, offering a higher per-share price than a previous proposal by MaxoTel. The non-binding offer includes both cash and shares, potentially allowing Vonex shareholders to benefit from the growth and synergies of the merged entity. Swoop’s anticipated synergies could add over $5 million to annual EBITDA, aiming to create a larger, more competitive national telecommunications provider.
