Swire Pacific has announced a series of board changes effective after its 2026 annual general meeting, including the retirement of independent non-executive director Edith Ngan, who will also step down from the Audit Committee. The company has expressed appreciation for Ngan’s contributions and confirmed there are no outstanding issues related to her departure.
The group will appoint Anna Ming Ming Cheung and Clara Ho as independent non-executive directors, with Cheung joining the Remuneration Committee and Ho joining the Audit Committee, both bringing extensive private equity, capital markets and governance experience. In addition, Gordon Orr will become a non-executive director following his move to the Swire holding company, while Xu Ying will chair the Remuneration and Nomination Committees and Paul Etchells will join the Nomination Committee, reshaping the board’s oversight structure and reinforcing governance capabilities.
