Surefire Resources NL ( (AU:SRN) ) just unveiled an update.
Surefire Resources has reported further strong assay results from on-surface float rock sampling at the newly discovered LOOT prospect within its Yidby Gold Project in Western Australia. The latest samples from the Albitite lithology returned gold grades up to 13.19 grams per tonne over a strike length of 165 metres, with all assays from this rock type recording gold values.
The company said the additional along-strike sampling of the now recognisable Albitite unit is helping to define the orientation and continuity of the near-surface mineralisation at LOOT. These results reinforce the prospectivity of the new discovery and support the potential for a significant gold-bearing zone, providing a stronger geological basis for future exploration and project evaluation at Yidby.
