Sunrise Communications AG Class A ( (CH:SUNN) ) has shared an update.

Sunrise Communications AG announced that, effective 1 June 2026, Veit Kment will join the Executive Committee as Chief Consumer Officer Flanker Brands, taking over leadership of the company’s secondary brands. Kment, a former McKinsey partner who co-led the firm’s Telecom, Media and Technology Practice in the DACH region, brings extensive international experience in telecom growth, digitalization and AI that is expected to support Sunrise’s strategic expansion of its flanker portfolio.

He succeeds Stefan Fuchs, who is leaving Sunrise at his own request to become CEO of a telecommunications company outside Switzerland after eight years in senior roles at Sunrise and previously UPC. Fuchs played a central role in the successful merger of UPC and Sunrise, the development of the joint product portfolio, key marketing initiatives and the strong growth of the flanker brands, which have become a major growth engine for the group.
