Sunny Optical Technology (Group) Co has announced the appointment of Mr. Wang Tan Jiong as a non-executive director and a member of the nomination and strategy and development committees, effective from 1 October 2024. Mr. Wang, who has been with the company since 1996 and has a background in marketing and overseas business development, is also the son of current non-executive director Mr. Wang Wenjian. His appointment is expected to strengthen the influence of controlling shareholders within the board.
