The latest update is out from Strip Tinning Holdings plc ( (GB:STG) ).

Strip Tinning has reached a major milestone in its battery technologies business with the receipt of a serial production order for cell contacting system parts used in the battery pack of Zoox’s U.S. robotaxi programme. This order, the largest of the company’s three key nominations, follows years of development and qualification work and marks the start of recurring production revenues from a high-profile autonomous vehicle platform.

In its glazing connectors division, Strip Tinning has begun serial production of smart-glass roof connectors for the Porsche Cayenne Electric and an Audi SUV, with volumes expected to ramp up in the coming months. A second smart-glass roof contract for the Mercedes CLA is also progressing faster than planned, with serial production brought forward and strong early volume indications, underscoring growing demand for the company’s specialist connection technologies in the premium EV segment.

Spark’s Take on STG Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, STG is a Neutral.

The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (ongoing losses and sharply reduced equity alongside higher debt), with technicals also bearish (below key moving averages and negative MACD). Positive 2025 cash-flow improvement provides some support, but valuation is hard to justify on earnings due to negative P/E and there is no dividend yield data to offset the risk.
