Strike Energy Advances with Gas Engine Deal

Strike Energy Limited (AU:STX) has released an update.

Strike Energy Limited has secured a $48.5 million contract with Clarke Energy for the purchase and commissioning of twenty 4.5 MW Jenbacher gas engines for its new 85 MW South Erregulla peaking gas power plant. The engines, chosen for their efficiency and quick start-up times, will play a key role in the plant’s ability to meet peak energy demands. This strategic move, in line with Strike’s financial estimates, ensures the company’s preparedness for the plant’s projected start in October 2026.
