An update from Strathmore Plus Energy ( (TSE:SUU) ) is now available.
Strathmore Plus Uranium has launched its spring 2026 drilling program at the Agate uranium project in Wyoming’s Shirley Basin, a potential in-situ recovery operation bordering projects owned by Cameco and UEC and near UR-Energy’s developing satellite mine. The company plans up to 50 new holes to follow up more than 250 prior drill holes, where uranium was intersected in 95% of cases.
The campaign aims to discover new mineralization, extend known trends, verify historic Kerr-McGee drilling data, and guide potential claim additions across the 2,560-acre property. By advancing shallow roll-front uranium targets with experienced local contractors and ongoing groundwater and assay work, Strathmore is working to solidify Agate’s development potential and its positioning within a historically productive U.S. uranium district.
