Strategic Minerals ( (GB:SML) ) has issued an announcement.
Strategic Minerals has reported upgraded tin assay results from reanalysis of 428 historical drill core samples at its Redmoor project in Cornwall, using a more suitable analytical method for cassiterite that shows higher tin grades in 78% of cases. While the revised assays, including some newly recognised high-grade and wider tin intersections inside and outside the Sheeted Vein System, are not considered material to the recently published 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate, they will inform the next model update and add definition to tin-only veins and high-grade zones.
Additional sampling from drillhole CRD040 suggests extensions of tin mineralisation between the Sheeted Vein System and the North Tin Zone, reinforcing the potential for new or expanded mineralised zones within Redmoor. Management said the ongoing relogging, resampling and new drilling, alongside a ramp-up of resource infill drilling and pre-feasibility activities, is expected to continue adding value to the project and refine future resource updates for stakeholders.
Spark’s Take on SML Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, SML is a Neutral.
The score is primarily supported by improved 2024 financial performance and strong technical uptrend signals. It is materially constrained by expensive valuation (high P/E and no dividend yield data) and technical overbought indicators that elevate near-term risk.
