Strategem Capital Corporation has announced a plan to repurchase up to 457,826 of its Class A common shares, which is about 5% of the total outstanding shares, through a normal course issuer bid on the TSX Venture Exchange. This share buyback initiative is aimed at benefiting all remaining shareholders by potentially increasing their proportionate interest and providing greater market liquidity. The program is set to start on October 15, 2024, and will end a year later, with the possibility of an early termination.
