Stellar Resources Limited ( (AU:SRZ) ) has issued an update.
Stellar Resources has secured a $17 million strategic placement from Metals X Limited at $0.033 per share, with Metals X cornerstoning a larger $22.1 million capital raising that includes up to $5.1 million from additional investors. The funding, raised within Stellar’s existing placement capacity, will lift its pro-forma cash balance to about $33 million and see Metals X emerge with an expected 16.4% stake and a board nominee, aligning the two groups in Tasmania’s key tin province.
Proceeds will fully fund Stellar through completion of the Heemskirk Tin Project’s Prefeasibility Study due in the third quarter of 2026 and into a Definitive Feasibility Study, while also supporting exploration at East Renison and Granite Tor and providing working capital. The partnership is framed as strategically significant, creating potential operational synergies with Metals X’s nearby Renison operation and deepening its exposure to future tin supply, which could enhance Stellar’s path toward development and strengthen its position in the tin sector.
