Stelar Metals Limited has recommenced exploration at the historically significant Baratta Copper Project in South Australia, targeting sediment-hosted copper mineralisation. The project, which produced copper ore from 1896 to 1904, has not seen modern exploration, particularly over the large IP target and potential extensions indicated by soil sampling anomalies. The company’s renewed efforts include geological mapping and sampling along a 7-kilometre strike, with results anticipated early in the September quarter.
