SPDR Straits Times Index ETF ( (SG:ES3) ) has issued an update.
State Street Global Advisors Singapore Limited will rebrand the SPDR Straits Times Index ETF as the State Street SPDR Straits Times Index ETF from 3 March 2026, with its SGX counter and trading name changing from STI ETF to SS SPDR STI ETF on the same date. The move is part of a broader rebranding to State Street Investment Management, aimed at making it easier for investors to identify State Street as the manager behind its products, but the change is purely cosmetic: the fund’s investment philosophy, ticker symbol, portfolio management team and investment objectives will remain unchanged, leaving portfolio strategy and investor exposure unaffected.
