Star Micronics Co., Ltd has announced an absorption-type merger of its two Thailand-based subsidiaries, Star Micronics Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (SMMT) and Star Micronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (SMTL), effective January 1, 2025. The merger aims to consolidate manufacturing and sales operations for better resource management and operational efficiency. Following the merger, the surviving entity will operate under the provisional name Star Micronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
