Standard Chartered PLC has announced the issuance of SGD 750 million in Fixed Rate Resetting Perpetual Subordinated Contingent Convertible Securities, set for September 19, 2024. These securities will not be registered under the U.S. Securities Act and, with certain exceptions, will not be offered or sold in the United States. The company plans to list the securities on the London Stock Exchange’s International Securities Market and has also made arrangements for their potential listing on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited upon conversion.
