Standard Chartered PLC (SC) has executed a share buy-back, purchasing 1,557,120 shares on 12 September 2024, with the intention to cancel them. This action is part of a previously announced programme, with the shares bought from Goldman Sachs International at prices ranging from 754.20 to 770.00 GB pence each. Following the cancellation, SC’s total number of shares in issue and voting rights will be reduced to 2,509,248,678.
