Stallion Gold Corp ( (TSE:STUD) ) just unveiled an update.
Stallion Uranium has completed a helicopter-borne VTEM Plus airborne electromagnetic survey over the Stone Island target at its Moonlite Project in the southwestern Athabasca Basin, adding a key geophysical dataset for this underexplored area. The survey, totaling 676 line-kilometres over two grids, aims to map conductive graphitic basement structures and refine conductive corridors, with data now being processed to generate additional high-priority drill targets.
The company also reported progress on its maiden diamond drill program at the nearby Coyote Target, where two rigs are systematically testing high-priority geophysical and structural targets along a large basement-hosted uranium corridor. Although challenging drilling conditions and strong alteration related to a regional fault system have been encountered, management says integrating the new VTEM results with gravity, structural interpretation and ongoing drilling should sharpen target definition and potentially strengthen Stallion’s position in the Athabasca uranium exploration space.
